FUNDING

KADO sustainable source of funding is by solely membership, members' annual subscription fees and community user charges from the health center.
KADO appreciates all the Development Partners who have both financially, materially, in kind supported us, of which their support have made tremendous contribution making be as we are. In addition we appreciate those who have pledged/intending to provide support of any category to us.

CURRENT FUNDING

From the year 2000 to Date, the organization is receiving financial support from the Ministry of Health Uganda through the Primary Health Care programmes. This financial support facilitates the organization to run the health that provides comprehensive services to the community. The fund facilitates the purchase of medical drugs and supplies and contribution of two staff salaries.

Since 2011 to Date, we are fundraising with Global Giving US to Support 320 orphans with goats in Uganda. This project has got currently nine donors who have provided support. The project major aim is to support orphans and vulnerable children education in Uganda particularly in widow led households.

In the financial year 2013-2014 Global Fund for Malaria Round 10 supported the organization to implement two projects thus Health Systems Strengthening and Malaria Prevention and Management. Under malaria project, we trained 342 health workers in private not for profit health facilities on malaria case management and 356 health workers malaria rapid diagnostic testing. In addition, we distributed 58 280 long lasting insecticide treated nets, 200 trained in LLINS distribution in Busoga region. Under Health System Strengthening Project, we trained 4691 village community health workers (VHTS) on Malaria, HIV/AIDS and TB in Busoga Region.

Previous Development Partners

In 2012 the organization secured funding from Kibuku District Local Government and built the capacity of farmers in institutional development. 65group farmer promoters in kibuku district were train in Participatory planning, Good governance, Participatory monitoring and evaluation.
